Supporting Youth Athletics In Whatcom County

The Bellingham Bay Marathon was created in 2007 by the Bellingham Bay Swim Team and Whatcom Rangers FC as a fundraiser to support youth athletics in the Bellingham area. For 20 years, these events have raised necessary funds to help young athletes compete year-round in our community.

With four decades of tradition, we are one of Washington State’s longest-standing clubs, providing an unforgettable soccer experience. We’re proud to be home to Whatcom County’s top players and passionate families. 

 We are here to serve our vibrant community.

A portion of the proceeds from the Bellingham Bay Marathon goes directly to the Whatcom FC Rangers to help support youth athletes in our community. 100% of these funds are used exclusively for player scholarships, helping ensure financial barriers don’t prevent local youth from participating in competitive soccer. Each year, this support enables our club to issue 40 to 50 scholarships to players in need. This important backing fuels opportunities, dreams, and the chance for every player to step onto the pitch.
