Check-In and Bib Pick Up

Come Experience Bellingham and Run the Bay!

Packet Pickup Times and Locations

If you are picking up your race packet on race morning for the Half, 5K or 10K – Please arrive 45+ minutes early as we anticipate long lines. This will also give you time to park, navigate to the start/finish area, use the restroom and warm up for your race.

We recommend picking up your packet the day before at the Bellingham Cruise/Ferry Terminal (details above).

If you are picking up your packet for the Marathon on Race Morning, your packet will be available at the MARATHON start line at the Wex’liem Community Building. Either take the shuttle (from the finish line) or get dropped off there, where you’ll find your race packet. Your shirt will be available after you finish, at the finish line near gear check.

Shirt quantities will be limited, so if you need to swap your size to one different than the size you entered during registration, you will need to do so after you finish your race, first come, first serve on race day 9/21.

  • Arrive Early: Plan to arrive at the pickup location with ample time to spare, especially if you’re coming from out of town.
  • Packet Pickup: Approach the designated pickup area to verify your registration. Have your confirmation email handy as a backup on the off chance that we can’t find your registration.
  • Collect Bib Number: You will receive your race bib, which includes your participant number and timing chip. This chip will track your race time accurately.
  • If you are changing race distances, please make sure to make the change at pickup by visiting the Info Booth.
  • Safety Pins:  Don’t forget to grab safety pins to attach your bib securely to your clothing. Make sure to wear the bib front-facing, on your outermost layer of clothing.
  • There will be a limited quantity of 1,000 tote bags supplied by our presenting sponsor, PeaceHealth. First come, first serve, these will likely only be available on 9/20 at the Four Points By Sheraton Packet Pickup. Otherwise, you’ll need to supply your own bag for gear check.
  • Ask Questions: If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to ask the event staff or volunteers.

PLEASE NOTE – If you are unable to pick up your packet in person, you may designate someone else to pick it up on your behalf. For safety and liability purposes, no transfers are allowed without express permission from the race management team by seeing the info booth. If you are caught racing with a bib that does not match the registration, you will be disqualified.
